Doug has almost 30 years of CMC experience across the entire product lifecycle, having served in leadership roles responsible for the development and commercialization of both biopharmaceuticals and small molecules. Doug was most recently the chief technical officer at Applied Molecular Transport, a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company where he was responsible for Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Process Development, Formulation Development, Analytical Development, Regulatory Affairs CMC and Environmental Health and Safety.  His previous employment included: UNITY Biotechnology, Kythera Biopharmaceuticals Inc. (acquired by Allergan PLC), Boehringer-Ingelheim and Amgen. Doug holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
